In honor of my husband, a great lover of all things comic, I am delighted to present you the Show Me Your Superhero Contest and Giveaway, proudly sponsored by Marvel’s The Avengers, bursting into theaters on May 4!

Now, I know. You’d think this wasn’t my cup of tea, but I did see both Iron Man movies, more than once (thanks, Sweetie!), grew up with The Incredible Hulk, I’m a huge Scarlett Johansson fan (I don’t care what you say. Shut your filthy mouth), and I love 3D and explosions. So there.

That said, I am thrilled about the opportunity to give away a few Avengers items, for both your grownup and your Avengers-in-Training.

How do you enter? Well, like I said, show me your superhero! To enter, simply upload a picture to Momma Be Thy Name’s Facebook page no later than May 12, 2012, showing us your superhero. Got a kid who flies around the living room like Superman? That counts. Grandma, making a muscle? That counts, too!  Hubby a whiz at fixing the sink? Superhero for sure! Cleaning the house, cooking, doing laundry, and carting children all over town? Oh yes, you’re definitely a superhero, too!

A winner will be chosen at random at 6pm ET on May 12 from all entries received, and featured here at Momma Be Thy Name, on Momma’s Facebook Page, and via Twitter.
